Ecuadorian Embassy in Spain Calls its Citizens to Register

This morning, the Embassy of Ecuador in Spain invited the citizens of this country, resident in Spain, to register on the electoral roll, which entitles them to vote abroad, before September 10th.

“The vote abroad is a fundamental right that builds capacity for participation and decision of Ecuadorian citizens living abroad,” said Aminta Buenaño, Ambassador of Ecuador in Spain, through a press release issued today by the Embassy.

About 110,465 Ecuadorians in Spain were on the electoral roll to vote in the referendum that Ecuador made in 2011 to reorganize its system of justice.
