Ecuadorian Ministers Resigned their Posts

Ministers of President Rafael Correa’s cabinet yesterday presented the availability of their posts in order to let Correa analyze which of them will continue to work with his government.
The executive branch consists of 29 ministries, seven Secretaries of State, the National Secretariat of Planning and Development, the Ministry of Public Administration and the Legal Secretariat.
Legal secretary Alexis Mera, who resigned Friday, said the president is deciding the changes, but so far it is unknown whether he has accepted the resignation of any of the ministers of state.
There are rumors that the Health Minister David Chiriboga, will be among the first to leave office. (BG)
