Ecuadorian wins prize for creativity in Barcelona
The Ecuadorian Juan Daniel Alvarado was the winner of the contest Apps&Culture, driven by the Direction of Creativity and Innovation of the Institute of Culture of Barcelona, thanks to Meet2Go, a mobile application that consists of two parts.
Based on the music stored on the smartphone, playlists on Spotify and artists followed in social networks, a geolocated concert agenda is constructed.
Later, the user can sign in the same app in a meeting point before the event that is of interest”, says Alvarado, who is one of the founders of the digital agency from Cuenca ‘La Motora’.
Alvarado thought on “doing something that connects people according to their taste in music”, then decided to work with his partner Juan Diego Rodas, expert in programming, and a month later they pushed through the initiative.
With the 6. 000 euros of the prize, Alvarado and Rodas are thinking of working in their interface, its design and attraction of users.
