Edward Snowden exits Moscow airport
Snowden departed from the airport in Moscow, where he had resided for more than a month to “a safe place” and secret. “We just give him a document proving that he received temporary asylum in Russia for a year,” revealed his lawyer Anatoly Kucherena.
Kucherena said Snowden has American friends in Russia who can ensure his safety for the moment. “The place will not be published for security reasons at an early stage, since it is the most wanted man on the planet.” He added that Snowden would talk to the media when the time is right.
According to Kucherena, Snowden “Must now, go through a phase of rehabilitation. It has been some time since he was in the transit area (…).”
