The helper of the Court of Criminal Guarantees 15th of Guayas and the commissioner in charge of the hard drive clone of the computer in the jury were called by the Guayas Prosecutors. Both men will give their version against temporary judge Juan Paredes.

Paredes is being accused by the defense of El Universo newspaper for the crime of prevarication and misrepresentation. The testimony of Sarah Salazar Elberth is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 17, at 09:00 (GMT). The 25º-deputy notary of Guayaquil, Nelson Gomez Maquilon will give his version on January 24 at the same hour.

El Universo defense denounced that the sentence signed by Paredes was made and printed outside his office. Elvia Ayora, assistant of Paredes confirmed that she did not saw when the sentence was printed. (AV)
