Emelec Achieved Important Tie

Yesterday, Club Sport Emelec finished the game with a valuable draw (2-2) against Universidad de Chile in Santiago, within the rounds prior to the quarterfinals of the Copa Sudamericana 2012.
The first goal was scored by Luciano Figueroa, 16 minutes after the game started. Two minutes later, the Chilean team, coached by Jorge Sampaoli, tied the match with a header after an erratic move from goalkeeper Zumba.
Before the end of the first stage, Marlon de Jesus scored the second goal for Emelec.
Early, in the second half, Universidad de Chile was eager to tie the game, and finally, at minute 46, Ubilla achieved the draw, sealing the match with a 2-2 score.
