Guayaquil team today seeks to end their bad streak in the last of four games without a win when they travel to Manta, at 19h00, at the stadium Jocay, on the 15 day that was postponed for Emelec’s participation in Copa Libertadores.

The millionaire team needs at least one point that will allow their return to the first position in the championship, a position they kept since the start of the competition, but the ideal result will be the triumph, which would significantly increase their chances of winning the first stage which qualify for the national tournament final and Copa Libertadores and South America.

Emelec lost the lead on Sunday after a defeat to Deportivo Quito by 1-2, and El Nacional and they lost 0-1 against LDU Quito.

The first stage of the tournament is ending in three dates and along with Emelec, Deportivo Quito, Liga de Quito and Independiente are the teams with the highest winning option.
