Peñaron vs Emelec

Last night, the Club Sport Emelec was defeated by Uruguay’s Peñarol  by 1-0 in the match for the second round of Group 4 of the Copa Libertadores Championship.

The first minutes of the match, held at the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo, were lived intensely with permanent dangerous plays. The first half culminated scoreless.

In the second half, the blue team had several goal possibilities. However, at minute 67, Olivera scored  the only goal for Peñarol.

With this result Peñarol sums six points and leads Group 4, while Emelec stayed with three points.
