Entrepreneurs from Bolivia and Ecuador met
Ecuadornews:
Ecuadorean entrepreneurs concreted more than 100 meetings with the textile, clothing and footwear sector of Bolivia. A total of 65 Bolivian firms met with eight national representatives. The business mission ‘Textiles, clothing and footwear,’ managed by the Trade Office of the Institute for Promotion of Exports and Investments (Pro Ecuador), held a meeting to reach commercial agreements.
“The massive increase in Bolivian imports evidence the growing appeal among consumers for international brands,” said Verónica Mora, director of Pro Ecuador, in assessing the development of the event as positive. The analysis is based on a market study that unveils the growth of Bolivian consumption in these three sectors, which could be boosted by the Ecuadorian industry, according to Mora.
Entrepreneurs like Fernanda Naranjo, of Deltext Industrial, emphasized that this visit is an important bridge to establish negotiations and highlighted the receptivity of Bolivian entrepreneurs. “We hope to continue deepening our approach with the Bolivian population to promote our products,” said Ricardo Ulcuango, ambassador of Bolivia.
