The will to conclude the process of approval of the agreement with the European Union before the end of the year remains steadfast in the Commission. Sources of that institution have assured they will make every effort to cooperate with the Council and the Parliament -institutions that are responsible for the following phases of the process- to meet the proceedings before Ecuador loses its tariff preferences in January 2017.
