FARC Prepares Initiate the Peace Process

Jesus Emilio Carvajalino a.k.a “Andres Paris”, the guerrilla director that recently participated in the negotiations with the Colombian government in La Habana, Cuba. The leaders of FARC prepared to begin with the peace process with the government of the Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos so it concludes successfully.

According to Carvajalino, the guerrilla group keeps the option open for presenting a candidate in the upcoming presidential elections of 2014 in Colombia. He also pointed out that in October the peace dialogue would be resumed in La Habana.

Carvajalino assured that FARC is trying to create their own political force without ties with the current political parties of his country. AV
