Chimborazo Province mourns after seven people were killed and another 42 were injured yesterday after a bus accident of the Transportation Cooperative Holy, in the Aipud sector, Alausi canton in Chimborazo.

The bus was going from Quito to Cuenca and according to transit agents versions would have lost track on a stretch of road known as the Curve of Death. The heavy automotive nearly fell to a pit of about 300 meters.

Among those affected are 10 minors, three young French tourists and three other Americans, as well as people of Pichincha, Cotopaxi, Tungurahua, Chimborazo, Canar, Azuay and Loja.
