Figures of 2016 budget continue to change

The General State Budget for 2016 will not be 25,700 million. According to the Ministry of Finance, Rafael Correa failed to mention 4,200 million dollars. The budget would amount, then, to 29.900 million.

Minister Fausto Herrera pointed out that the budget _ announced by Correa at the end of the economic debate he conducted Wednesday, does not specify amortization data or liabilities of the state. These values, he said via statement, must still be refined and ready this week. How can we reduce 6.417 million dollars, from the total approved by the Legislature for 2015?

Herrera said that capital spending for social projects will not be touched. he emphasized that the future of schools and hospitals is assured. You can not say the same of the strategic sectors. The budget will have a significant low although capital is needed, for example, in hydrocarbons.
