Flacso and Andina reply presidential criticism

The Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) and the Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar (UASB) defended yesterday the budget assigned by the state before the warning made by President Rafael Correa, of reviewing their assignments.
On Saturday during his weekly address, the president said that after a budget review it was found there is “a misallocation of resources” to these postgraduate universities as well as the National Institute of Advanced Studies (IAEN), although the latter is part of the public system.
