Even after their death, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe continue earning money, they are been the three deceased artists who have won more money in the last twelve months, Forbes magazine said in a list published on Tuesday.

Michael Jackson won about $ 170 million between October 2010 and October 2011, less than last year, when he was leading the list with $ 275 million. Elvis Presley, who passed 34 years ago, is second on the list with $ 55 million in the last year. While Marilyn Monroe, who will soon celebrate 50 years of late, came in third place with $ 27 million.

The creator of Snoopy, Charles Schulz, is ranked fourth by generating 25 million after his death. The violet eyes actress, Liz Taylor, is in fifth place with $ 12 million after her death on March 23 this year. Taylor tied with John Lennon, who also registered $ 12 million in profits during the last year.
