The Supervisory Commission of the Legislature determined the political trial of State Comptroller Carlos Pólit Faggioni on Monday, following a request made by Legislator Kharla Chavez Bajaña (Alianza PAIS).
As part of the process, the Commission will summon former Attorney General Galo Chiriboga Zambrano and current Attorney General Carlos Baca Mancheno.
The Commission gave way to the political trial with 12 votes, and the support signatures of 70 legislators. The head of the Commission María José Carrión announced that Baca will have to appear next Friday (I).
