A judge ordered the release on bail of IMF former director this Friday afternoon.

U.S. legal sources said Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who is accused of sex crimes, will remain under house arrest in an apartment in Manhattan.

On Thursday the former director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was released on bail of one million dollars.

However, that day was formally indicted on seven charges, including an attempted rape to a hotel employee.
