Former Judge Encalada Explained in 9 Hours Her Version of El Universo Case
Telling her story and allegations of irregularities in El Universo Case, took Monica Encalada more than nine hours. This time she did it before the Guayas district attorney in charge, Paul Ponce.
Encalada came to the prosecution at 09:39, a minute away to be considered a suspended proceeding according to the Law of delays in proceedings.
Since last February 14, Encalada has made public accusations of having been under pressure, offers to defend the head of state, Rafael Correa, and publicly announced that the temporary former judge Juan Paredes got the elaborated sentence.
After the diligence, Encalada said she confirms all allegations she stated during the meeting and also said she gave further evidence so the investigation can be still ongoing and said this new evidence does not consist in new videos, but documents. (ARL)
