He is also credited with the murder of Katty Velasco Pinargote and Oscar Villacís Gómez, a couple of Ecuadorians who were kidnapped last April when they were traveling through the province of Esmeraldas, on the border with Colombia.

The document number, he adds, corresponds to a citizenship card, that is, to the identification of a person of legal age, as it appears in other official records, such as the Background Certificate of the Attorney General of Colombia. In August 2018, there were already indications that ‘Guacho’ also used that identity, according to a file of the General Prosecutor of Colombia, revealed at the time by Red Más Noticias.
