Guayaquil Autoshow Gallery Promotes Sales
Convertible vehicles, hybrid versions of redesigned models are already being sold on the markets that could come to Ecuador are displayed since Tuesday on the Autoshow 2011 in Guayaquil.
The exposition is in Convention Center that has gathered over 15 automotive brands and other linked to transportation. The idea is to increase their sales for the last semester of the year. There is an optimistic environment since the sales of 2010 could set a new record of 120 thousand units. This would surpass the 112 thousand units sold on 2008.
Several brands are using models to attract clients, Chevrolet exhibits new models the Spark GT and the Grand Vitara SZ. Angela Maria Duran, marketing manager of Chevrolet said they expect to surpass their sells of 2009 with 50 thousand units in the market.
While other brands like Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Chery among others. The Chinesse cars present the Chery A1, QQ3 and the Chery Van Pass. Director of Cinascar Ecuador, points out that the company wants to place a thousand units this year.
The event will be attending until October 17, during the week it will be open from 16:00 to 22:00 and the weekends it will be open from 11:00 to 22:00. The admission ticket has a value of $3 for adults and the elderly will pay half price. Each visitor receives a coupon for a contest of $15.000 that will allow the purchase of a vehicle.
