Guayaquil Promotes Bici.Ruta on Global day of Cycling

Bici.Ruta in Guayaquil would be on Sundays

The Mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot presented the project of Bici.Ruta Guayaquil which implies making cycling tours in the urban area every Sunday, with vehicle restriction to give full exclusivity to people on foot, bicycles, skates and any other mean of non-motorized transportation.

The Bici.Ruta would have eight circuits of 1,76 km and 6,95 km of distance. The schedules would be from 08:00 to 12:00 (GMT). During those hours the vehicle movement will be restricted through the established circuits.

During the route there will be outposts of mechanical assistance, hydration and information regarding local tourism of the area. (AV)
