Guayas has only 95% of its candidates

95% of the 2335 registered by the Guayas province to the local elections of February 23 and have been qualified by the National Electoral Council (CNE) applications, as the vice president of the company, Paul Salazar, revealed it.

Among the candidates there are four candidates running for mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot (PSC- MG), Viviana Bonilla (PAIS -CD), Balerio Estacio (Socialists) and Eduardo Alvarez (Pachakutik).

It should be emphasized that by the initiative Power of the Vote, which trained college students for the optional vote on Guayaquil, Salazar said that around 75% of Guayas nominations have already been entered into the computer system. Salazar announced that it expects to complete the records before the end of December.

While the council president, Domingo Paredes said in a television interview that so far there have been 2,935 election-related offenses early campaign. Paredes added that 35 candidates committed those errors.

According to the CNE Director of Audit and Control Campaign Expenditure Jose Cisneros, the amount of anticipated expenditures reached $ 600 mil.
