Guillermo Lasso promises to invest in public work in Los Rios.

Posted On 13 Mar 2017
Saturday, Guillermo Lasso, presidential candidate for the CREO-SUMA alliance, lead a caravan in the Buena Fe County, in Los Rios province.
Accompanied by his wife, Maria de Lourdes Alcívar, the legislator elected of his coalition, Patricio Mendoza, and the mayor of this county, Eduardo Mendoza, Lasso toured the main avenue under an intense sun.
Financial support to finish the market project, the central square, and the Jujan-Santo Domingo road, improve roads and neighborhood roads were some of the promises made by the candidate.
He also said he would welcome good proposals, such as that of the former presidential candidate for the Social Christian Party, Cynthia Viteri, of charging only a percentage of the electricity bill to Ecuador’s low-income families.
Around 12:00, the caravan advanced to Quevedo. There, when arriving at the Quito Avenue, he was approached by a group of women who tried to greet him. Lasso agreed to get out of the car and walk with them towards the 7 de Octubre street.
