A machete to “mow” corruption and “cut” the head of the corrupt politicians was the gift received by the candidate of the CREO-SUMA party, Guillermo Lasso, from the Agricultural and Livestock Association Diez de Enero, of the Salitre county (Guayas).
It happened last Saturday during a dance festival in the Candilejo complex, organized by the Guild and in which entrepreneur Paul Olsen was presented as the future Minister of Agriculture.
“The day you are in the presidential armchair, we, the peasants, will remind you what you have promised to us in the Candilejo complex,” said the peasant leader Carlos Vasquez after giving him the machete.
Lasso offered to conclude the hospital of the locality, whose works have been paralyzed for seven years. That was one of the requests from the candidates of District 4.
