Gustavo Jalkh resigned as Private Secretary

The legal secretary of the presidency, Alexis Mera, announced that President Rafael Correa accepted the resignation of Gustavo Jalkh to the Private Secretary, who also had been nominated by the National Court of Justice (CNJ for its Spanish acronym), to integrate the new Judicial Council (CJ for its Spanish acronym).
The list of candidates for the formation of the new CJ will be delivered today to the Council of Citizen Participation (CPC for its Spanish acronym) by the Executive Power.
On this manner, Mera revealed that the Minister of Justice, Johana Pesantes, head the list of candidates.
Mera also confirmed that nominations for president, vice president, assembly and Andean Parliament shall be entered on November 12 at the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym). (MZ)
