Gustavo Manrique spoke about conservation, protection and access to water at the United Nations
The conservation, protection and access to water is more than a political issue, it is a matter of survival of humanity. There are 800,000 people in the world who die every year from diseases directly attributed to water that is not suitable for consumption or due to inadequate sanitation. For this reason it is emerging that all countries generate global actions to solve this problem.

Gustavo Manrique Miranda, Minister of Environment Ecuador.
In my speech at the United Nations Conference on Water, which took place in the United States, we presented our actions focused on the protection, recovery, and conservation of natural water sources, to guarantee equitable, permanent, and universal access for consumption. and irrigation for food sovereignty, aligned with the vision of the Government of the President, Guillermo Lasso, who has considered water as the fundamental basis for the development of the country.
From Ecuador we invite the countries to unite to achieve the objectives set out in this meeting.
We continue to build a Green and Productive Ecuador for present and future generations! #unwaterconference2023
