Hostilities in Misrata Claim more Lives
Libyan forces stroked the rebels of Misrata with mortar attacks during Wednesday; the hostilities performed were made even after militaries threats against Muammar al Gaddafi forces. Misrata is the last bastion of rebel forces in the west of the country that for the last seven weeks has been assailed with attacks that have left several thousands dead.
Among the deceased is a British photojournalist Tim Hetherington and the North American photographer Chris Hondros, who perished by the blast of a grenade. Meanwhile rebel sources state that Gaddafi snipers are attacking civilians. However, officials from Tripoli deny these statements.
The constant infighting has diminished the essential supplies, meanwhile medicine and fuel are now scarce and the population is starting to panic.
