Hurricane ‘Arthur’ goes to the southeast of New England
The center of the hurricane ‘Arthur’ began to move offshore, and away from the U.S. coast, after passing through North Carolina, said the National Hurricane Center (NHC), of USA.
The center of the hurricane will pass by the southeast of New England tonight, and would be located at the west of Nova Scotia on early Saturday, where it is expected a weakening that makes it a post-tropical cyclone.
However, hurricane warnings for Ocracoke, North Carolina, and the Virginia border remain, plus tropical storm warnings for the Chesapeake Bay, Western, Nantucket and Cape Cod from Provincetown to Woods Hole.
Although it is anticipated that ‘Arthur’ begins to lose strength along this Thursday, the authorities maintain the warning of hurricane or tropical storm with strong winds and rain from the northeastern U.S. coast to the Canadian border.
