Ideas are carried in the veins, in the heart: Auki Tituaña

Auki Tituaña, newly appointed presidential running mate of Guillermo Lasso in the CREO movement.
“There is no waiver to the principles nor ideologies, what imposes is the commitment to unity,” says Auki Tituaña, the newly appointed presidential running mate of Guillermo Lasso, on interview with Hoy Newspaper, and reiterates that the purpose is to work for a pluralistic, democratic and widely participatory unity, because- he explains- “ideologies are inside the heart and in the actions to be translated into welfare outcomes for the country.”
Tituaña also determines that 70% of Ecuadorians are outside the left or right movements’ margin. “People want jobs, democracy, respect, tolerance, security,” says while he is sure of the support of “indigenous bases (that) support the decision we made.”
And, in an interview with Expreso Newspaper, Tituaña reveals that political rapprochement with Lasso is given since 2009 when receiving the “very cordial visit” of him at Cotacachi, and when asked about this agreement with a man of political ideology different of his, he says that “the ideas are carried in the veins, in the heart” and that his ideology “will always remain” in the same way.
