Images From Thursday Riots

Posted On 01 Oct 2010

During yesterday Thursday the National Police took the streets with protest and stopped protecting the citizens. Officers who once were in charge of detaining any public riot, acted as the thugs they apprehend. Burning tires, barricaded streets and no police protection were the scenes of that fateful morning on September 30. The law broke the law, criminals and thieves looted big stores, robbed and killed as they please. Policemen realized too late the consequences of their strife and began to patrol the streets during the afternoon, trying to bring any semblance of order and law to ravaged streets.
