Intel Will Introduce 10 New Tablets

Intel could not resist to tablet technology, which is why it is going to introduce 10 new tablets at the Computex trade show in Taipei, Taiwan on June 4th. 

Navin Shenoy, Intel’s manager for Asia- Pacific, said that more than 35 tablets were based on Intel chips in 2011.

In April, Intel chief Paul Otellini promised the company will deliver this year tablets based on Android, MeeGo and Windows operating system. Intel is also working on Medfield, a chip designed for smartphones, but we’ll have to wait another year until we see Medfield-powered smartphones on the market.
