Israel Could Bomb Iran
The Defense Minister of Israel, Ehud Barak stated that a military strike against Iranian facilities is not out of the question. Despite the recent agreement on a probe with the UN nuclear watch program, Barak call it an Iranian ploy to dismiss international pressure.
The Israeli Defense Minister said that the only way Israel could see Iran develop its nuclear industry is if it shuts down all of its uranium production sites and starts using imported fuel.
This latest comments came as Iranian nuclear negotiators are meeting the P5+1 group in Baghdad on Wednesday. They are currently debating Iran’s nuclear ambitions, however the country insists its pursuits are purely civilian.
Last week Dan Shapiro, US Ambassador said the Pentagon already has a plan for a military attack on Iran, and may carry it out if ordered. (AV)
