John Terry Case
This morning, Chelsea player John Terry was acquitted of charges of racism against a player of African descent during a Premier League match in October last year.
After four days of testimony in a court of London, Judge Howard Riddle ruled that the footballer was not guilty of racism.
Terry said he used an offensive word sarcastically against Queens Park Rangers player, Anton Ferdinand, to answer the insult, he said, was accusing Ferdinand said.
This judgment meant that Terry lost the captaincy of the England squad before Euro and the subsequent resignation of Coach Fabio Capello, because he disagreed with that decision.
