The computer that judge Juan Paredes used to pass the sentence against El Universo Newspaper and the former editor of the Newspaper Emilio Palacio will show how he did his work. The computer will be thoroughly studied, to find the time and date that the files were modified, the time used to write the sentence.
This process could detect if the document was created in a different computer, this could determine the evidence that Newspaper El Universo is looking for, which must be approved by the District Attorney office.
Last Friday the newspaper obtained a copy of the hard drive by order of judge Carlos Ayala Flores, who received the petition by Cesar Javier Sanchez Icaza a delegate of judicial solicitor Gabriela Guzman Flores from El Universo.
Computers engineers, who preferred to remain anonymous, studied the hard drive and informed that in the computer every file remains registered even those that were deleted. (AV)
