Julian Assange Interviewed Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa
A few days ago Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange interviewed Ecuadorian president, Rafael Correa. Television channel Russia Today broadcast the interview. Correa discussed several issues including the 30S events.
Assange questioned Correa about how he perceives the United States. The Ecuadorian leader stated that, “the United States is the only country that will never have a coup-de-etat because it does not have an American embassy.”
Regarding the police insurrection called 30S, Correa assured that one of the reasons that caused the contempt of the police entity were the cutbacks of the funding received by the Government of United States, as well as the repercussions caused by the divulgence of the Wikileaks cables regarding the State Department of USA.
