July Festivities Begin Today in Guayaquil
The festivities of July to celebrate the Foundation of the River and the Estuary City begin today in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Students from schools and colleges will be the first to pay tribute to Guayaquil starting today with parades to be held in the facilities of the various educational establishments in the city.
The schedule of activities for the celebrations starts today and includes a lot of alternatives ranging from band concerts, festivals and competitions prepared by the municipality.
One of the main attractions will be the traditional parade that will take place on July 25 and for which nine allegories are being made to reflect the historical characteristics of the port.
The floats will be made on paper by the graphic designer Antonio Ortiz, who has worked in these type of sketches and has bring them to reality for 18 years.
