Despite strong rumors about the sex of the baby that Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting, Kate and William state they still do not know whether they will be parents of a girl or a boy.
However, last Sunday, during the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in London, the wife of the future heir to the English throne had no problem confessing that she would prefer a boy, while her husband opted for a girl.
The Duchess of Cambridge spoke very openly about her pregnancy and admitted she is “prepared” for the sleepless nights that follow childbirth. Kate is five and a half months pregnant so the baby will arrive next July.
According to the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph a member of the royal guard made some questions to Kate, which was answered without problem.
Lee Wheeler, 29, says that he approached the Duchess to tell her how much he missed his 22 months-old son when he was on service. “She said: I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl”, said the guard. ‘I asked her if she had chosen any names and she said no”.
