Kaviedes Retires From Soccer
Posted On 10 Mar 2012
Yesterday, Ecuadorian player Jaime Ivan Kaviedes announced his retirement from professional soccer.
“Soccer has disappointed me many times,” he said. Kaviedes quit the team he was playing for, Deportivo Quito, because they hadn’t paid him since January, they also wanted him to sign by a lower value.
“I don’t want to play anymore, I’m 34, I made a very good season and they can’t disrespect me like that, it’s not me, many players are facing this too. I have no intention of playing soccer or sit down and talk with directives, communication is difficult for me these days. “
