Krysaor will be launched into space in November
The second Ecuadorian nanosatellite, called Krysaor, successor to its twin Pegasus, will be launched into space from a Cosmodrome in Russia on November 21.
During a press conference carried out yesterday, the Ministry of safety coordination, the integrated security service ECU 911 and EXA, were commissioned to give details of the launch of Krysaor, as published by El Telegrafo newspaper in its website.
The Ecuadorian astronaut, Ronnie Nader, principal Director of EXA, noted that this new nanosatellite will continue with the Mission of the NEE-01 Pegasus to serve education and continue to do tests of new technologies in the country.
Pegasus, which was the first Ecuadorian nanosatellite, left orbit, after a collision with space junk last may, a few weeks after it was launched into space on April 25, so few days ago EXA claimed an insurance policy of $200.000 for the loss of the nanosatellite.
