Latest Details for the Telethon Ecuador 2011

Yesterday at the Hilton Colon Hotel took place the last logistic meeting of the organizing team of the 20th Telethon for Life to be held on Saturday December 3 from 9:00 GMT.

Pascual Del Cioppo, along with Jennifer Najera (producer), and their team members gather the national police and the Transit Commission of Guayas, for the coordination of security measures for  that the national and international artists that will come to the country in order to contribute with this event.

Del Cioppo also highlighted the work that the Telethon has been doing for over 20 years and predicted that this year’s proceeds will go to the construction and equipping of OB-GYN Hospital Alfredo G. Paulson of the Honorable Guayaquil Welfare Board, whose opening is expected in January 2013.

Telethon donations through its history have benefited thousands of children, youth and adults in Ecuador. Medicines and the costs of surgeries, treatments, transplants, both at home and abroad have been covered with the funds raised in the history of the Ecuadorian Telethon.

The last work funded by “Telethon for Life“, is the Children’s Burn Unit. This medical center will begin its service to the public on Saturday December 3.
