Latin American foreign ministers fear for U.S. intelligence
The Foreign Ministers of Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay expressed their “concern” and “outrage” for the alleged U.S. espionage in the region.
The officials of each countries denounced the “aggression” against Bolivian President Evo Morales when he was prevented from flying over European countries for bring suspected of carrying the former CIA analyst, Edward Snowden, as a passenger, who nowadays has been granted asylum in Russia .
Ecuador was one of the first countries which was pressured by the U.S. to not to give asylum to Snowden, after he asked for it when he left Hong Kong and went to Russia, but finally was accepted temporarily for one year, by the government of the Kremlin.
