Lenin Moreno will participate in the positioning of Sebastián Piñera
Ecuadornews:
The president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, will participate on March 11 at the positioning of his Chilean elected colleague, Sebastián Piñera, official sources confirmed to Efe today.
Moreno will travel to Chile on Friday accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, María Fernanda Espinosa, and return on Sunday.
The Ecuadorian delegation will also be formed by the president’s wife, Rocío González de Moreno; the Minister of Culture, Raúl Pérez Torres; the Minister in charge of Mining, Rebeca Illescas; the Secretary of Higher Education, Augusto Barrera; and the ambassador of Ecuador in Chile, Homero Arellano Lascano; informs a presidential decree.
The trip to Chile is Moreno’s fifth trip abroad, after those he made to the United Nations in September, to Peru in October, to Spain and Italy in December, and to Colombia in February.
Minister Espinosa said recently that the Ecuadorian president has an intense international agenda this year, in particular because of the takeovers in which he will participate in other countries of the continent. (I)
