Low budget does not limit buying gifts on Valentine Day
Valentine’s Day presents are a custom for couples, friends or family despite any economic drawback. This was pointed out by the data of the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC), which record that the Ecuadorian households spent $ 1.5 million on chocolates, flowers and perfumes in February 2013.
The data show that at least 85% was allocated to the purchase of perfumes, while married men spend more sweets and chocolates and that the flowers are the preferred gifts by men between 50 and 64 years.
Although many people today do not have a large budget for gifts on this date. National market offers original and low price options that can have the same effect for the loved one.
Artisans and microentrepreneurs offer fun and original ways to give gifts in the country, with the additional option to add a personal touch to the present.
