Lucerito was chosen as “Star of the Year” by PEOPLE magazine

After thirty-two years of artistic career, the acclaimed Mexican actress and singer Lucero was chosen as “Star of the Year” by People magazine in Spanish.

On the cover of the December-January issue, Lucero is wearing a strapless purple dress and a wide smile which reveals her current happiness.

“I’m very happy with my love life right now. Very stable, in love and matched, and I feel full and complete,” said the artist, who for 14 years was married to singer Manuel Mijares also the father of her children Jose Manuel and Lucero.

The 43-year old artist has a relationship with a Mexican businessman, however she reaffirms they have no plans for a wedding.

“I was married once. My children have a wonderful father and I don’t think I’ll do it again.”
