The legislators of the AP Party Marcela Aguiñaga, Gabriela Rivadeneira, and Doris Soliz, have criticized the dialogue promoted by President Lenin Moreno with the opposition due to his its political background. But they had ties to that past they criticize.
 
Before taking office as Undersecretary of Fisheries Resources at the beginning of the correism, Aguiñaga worked between 2004 and 2007 in the legal firm Moeller, Gómez-Lince & Co., of Heinz Moeller, a former MP of the PSC and former Chancellor in the government of Gustavo Noboa.
Aguiñaga was a legal adviser at the Galapagos National Park between 2001 and 2003 during the presidency of Noboa, as well as his adviser in 2004 when Lucio Gutiérrez was president.
Rivadeneira, for her part, was a councilor of the Otavalo county (in Imbabura) and then a deputy mayor representing the Pachakutik party (PK), between 2004 and 2008.
Soliz was Minister of Tourism from January to August of 2003 during the government of Gutiérrez and a councilor and deputy mayor of Cuenca in 2000-2002 representing the Pachakutik Party. (I)
