The mayor of Guayaquil, Cynthia Viteri, announced this morning that a few minutes ago she was informed that she is infected with the coronavirus COVID-19.
Guayaquil is the city with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus, with 157 infected.
Report No. 12, with a cutoff at 08:00 on Thursday, March 19, reported that the cases increased to 199 in the country; in addition 575 people are in an active epidemiological fence. And another 320 are suspected cases.
About 336 people are discarded cases of the disease. (I)
