World soccer star described his meeting with Pope Francis as unforgettable, and said that soccer has taken him around the world, in the most incredible positions, “but yesterday was really a special day, unforgettable, said the four-time winner of the Golden Ball and captain of Argentina.

Yesterday, the soccer player and his fellow teammates, along with the Italians, enjoyed a private audience with the first pontiff born in Latin America, in the Apostolic Palace. Both teams will meet today in a friendly match  at the Olimpic Stadium in Rome.
