Messi shirt is contested by players of Bayer
Michal Kadlec and Manuel Friedrich, players of the Bayer Leverkusen staged a pathetic show to see who got the shirt of Lionel Messi after completing the first game of the eight rounds of the European Champions League against FC Barcelona.
The discussion took place during the halftime. As published in the newspaper Bild, Kadlec said Manuel tried to steal the idea of the shirt in th halftime. However, the Czech finished imposing himself after the game and changed t-shirt with the Argentine star.
Furthermore, German press branded the incident as “shameful”.
“It seems that for the two millionaire players was important fighting over Messi’s shirt than goal that Alexis Sanchez scored before halftime,” added the Bild. While the Süddeutsche Zeitung said that Messi found in Leverkusen “more fans than rivals.”
