Mexico presidential candidates close their electoral campaign
Last night the four Mexican presidential candidates closed their respective campaigns for the upcoming elections on Sunday July 01. The winner will be chosen in a single round of elections to supersede the current president Felipe Calderon in the next six years.
The electoral ban started last night, thus Enrique Pena Nieto, Andres Lopez Obrador, Josefina Vazquez Mota and Gabriel Quadri made their final performances to earn the support of the 80 million of Mexicans who are able to vote.
Nieto talked to its followers in Toluca Plaza de Armas, Mexico, that they must be overconfident by the advantage that the polls show and that they all should vote.
Lopez Obrador talked in the Federal District to close his electoral campaign, Lopez said that if he becomes president he will no let them down.
Meanwhile, Vazquez Mota, the candidate of PAN traveled to the Omnilife stadium in Guadalajara to express her thanks to her supporters. (AV)
