Miduvi will build 10,000 houses
Posted On 01 Jul 2013
The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (Miduvi) plans to build 10,000 houses for the rural and marginal urban areas of the country, which would cover 44% of the total demand, which, according to vice minister of the body Marcelo Leon, amounts to around 18,000 units.
He explained that the process tries to organize between 25 and 50 applicants in committees that submit projects to the different provincial directions to solve their housing needs in about six months.
Candidates must have their own land for their housing applications to be approved.
